Troop 5 Scoutmaster Announcements – Nov 18, 2025

Congratulations to all scouts who received badges and rank advancements at tonight’s Court of Honor – well earned! And another big thank you to all scouts and adults who helped repair our scout shed this past Saturday. Special shout out to our "foreman" Andrew.

For those wanting to attend scout night at the Norfolk Admirals against the Florida Everblades on Saturday, December 6th, tickets are $18 each and you need to arrange payment to Kristina no later than this Thursday as she will be buying the group of tickets on Friday from the scout shop. Family and friends are welcome.

We are collecting food for the church’s food pantry. Scouts should collect all items by Friday, November 21st and arrange for dropoff at the church the following day. We will be joining up with another scout group to lay wreaths at Forest Lawn Cemetery on the morning of December 13th. More details to come.

And finally, please invite all youth (boys and girls) ages 11-17 to attend our troop open house on December 16th. Our scouts will be leading groups around and/or manning stations where they will be sharing about their favorite Troop 5 adventures. It should be a lot of fun and a great showcase of our troop.
