Troop 5 Scoutmaster Announcements – Feb 24, 2026

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Scout Sunday celebration this past weekend, and to all of those that also came to Pack 24’s crossover to welcome Connor S to our troop.

Congratulations to Connor G on his election to the Order of the Arrow tonight. We support and encourage him as he looks ahead to his ordeal.

This coming Saturday, February 28th, we will be ice skating at the Glow-N-Skate at Chilled Ponds in Chesapeake. Friends and family are welcome to join. Start time is 7:00pm and cost is $15 per person, paid to the ice rink.

On March 14th, we will be marching in the Oceanview parade as part of our lock-in weekend. Please come cheer us on!

On April 17th to 19th, we plan to split the troop into two exciting weekend activities – the Council Camporall for junior scouts and an Appalachian Trail hike for senior scouts. Stay tuned for more information coming on these events coming soon.
